Beyond the tacos, Taconeta elevates your dining with standout sides such as the Grilled Elote — widely praised as some of the best elotes you’ll ever taste — and crispy Tempura Green Beans alongside addictive Camote Sweet Potato Wedges. These accompaniments add layers of smoky, sweet, and crunchy sensations that perfectly complement the main dishes.
Complement your meal with one of Taconeta’s expertly crafted drinks. The Jamaica Hibiscus Margarita rimmed with spicy Tajin or the smokey Mezcal Margarita offer a refreshing yet complex cocktail experience that pairs beautifully with the food. For those seeking a non-alcoholic option, the traditional Aguas Frescas provide a naturally sweet and cool refreshment.

PLEASE OPEN UP A SPOT IN TUCSON!!! I fell in love with Taconeta. The food, the service, the decor, the vibe, everything was amazing. After arriving in Fort Worth, I found this spot on Yelp. I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant at first because one person said it wasn’t worth the wait. But the good reviews totally won me over, and I’m so happy we decided to go. It had started to rain lightly when we got there, but the line moved quickly, and honestly, I could see why people wait. It’s definitely worth it. The process is super easy. You get in line, check out the menu on the board or grab a physical one, place your order, and then they seat you. If you want more food, the servers walking around are so friendly and attentive, they’ll happily take your order. I tried the suadero, carnitas, and mushroom tacos, and wow, they were all delicious. If I had to choose favorites, the mushroom and carnitas tacos were the winners for me. The elote in a cup was okay, the corn was a little starchy and not as sweet as I like, but the corn on the cob was amazing. Even the music was great. I just wanted to dance and eat tacos all night. If I’m ever in El Paso again, I’m coming back for sure.
Amazing elotes! Best ones I ever had .. had to order one to go after taking one bite. The pork taco I had was also really good. Wasn’t a big fan of the Aztec salad personally. Would stop by again if I’m ever back in town!
“Taconeta, Take Me Back Love Song” In a corner of cool where the Stray Cats play, Taconeta’s callin’, can’t stay away. Flavor bombs burst — boom, pow, olé! Each taco’s a poem in a handmade bouquet. Sweet potatoes so sweet they steal the show, Vegan dreams where the taste buds go. Fresh frescas dancing, colors collide, Indoor chill, outdoor pride. Tortillas soft like a summer tune, Salsa sings under a crescent moon. Service with smiles that never fade — Round two? You bet — already paid. Taconeta, oh you vibey star, You don’t just feed, you raise the bar. Every bite’s a beat, every sip’s a rhyme, Guess who’s coming back next time?
When I say please go here I mean it. Look I am from Ohio originally so I have no clue about real tacos. I now live in Savannah Georgia so I still don't know lol. But man if this is what real tacos is like then please give me these all the time. Plus the elotes was pure bliss. I knew I picked the right place when I saw that there was a line halfway around the building. Since I was alone I said heck I will wait and see what the fuss is about. Holy guacamole this place was delicious! The ordering process is kind of strange compared to your standard place. You basically order your food at a small window first and then go find a seat. They give you a number to put on your table and the server brings your food to you. They were super busy when I was there but I really didn't have to wait that long. I ordered a couple tacos, an elote, and a horchata to drink. Good lord it was so good. The prices were not bad at all and the quality of food you get far exceeds the price in my opinion. If you have a big group it may be a little hectic to get ordered and find a place to sit but for little groups of 4 or less it is great.
Last night in El Paso and had to visit here after seeing the crowd. You order outside and they give you a table inside or outside depending on your choice. I got the shrimp and chicken taco and loved it so much that I ordered more shrimp tacos again ! A bit crowded but totally worth it for authentic tacos !
Just get three of the carnitas tacos. I tried a variety, but that carnitas taco was so darn good I wished I had the stomach space for two more. The tres leches cake was good too, and I didn't try it, but people around me were raving about the grilled sweet potato.
